Former Manchester City midfielder, Yaya Toure, has sent a congratulatory message to Lionel Messi and his Barca teammate for claiming their 26th LaLiga title on Saturday.
Messi came off the bench last night to score the only goal against Levante which clinched Barcelona's 26th La Liga title.
And by winning the title, Messi made another history by becoming the Barcelona's first player to win 10 league titles.
Toure played over 70 matches for the Barcelona and was part of the historic 2009 Barcelona side that won six trophies in a calendar year.
The Ivorian left Barca for Manchester City in 2010.
In a tweet on Saturday night, Toure said, "Congratulations to my former club @FCBarcelona on winning @LaLiga title!!!
"Very happy for my ex team mates, Lionel Messi and @EAbidalOfficial - who is now technical director at the club!"
